What you should be reading – NX

Lots of good economic articles today…

ACA – Scheiber (This isn’t the first article to point this out; will the prediction come true?)

Economics – Dionne covers some political/philosophical implications, Summers continues his series, and Kotlikoff takes a provocative position (and I’ve included readers’ comments  – many good critiques, and they touch on a number of economic implications that form an econ education of sorts on a complex issue). Weeks provides a wealth of statistics in a small place – mostly page 2 – but the rest is fascinating (and I’m looking forward to more in his series). Finally, Miller et. al. examine social mobility and ‘resilient’ students, and a cost to them I’ve never seen discussed before. (Drop this one in an extemp round and watch the judge’s expression.)
