FX – What you should be reading

There are a number of things about Russia worth watching – their Ukraine incursion and the resulting sanctions, possible future expansion in other areas (they’ve staged war games simulating an invasion of three Baltic islands – one each for Denmark, Sweden, and Finland – the actual takeovers of which would make Baltic commerce pretty much impossible and perhaps prevent an adequate reaction to ground forces in Latvia, Lithuania, or Estonia), their crackdown on homosexuals in Russia, and their closure of NGOs and non-profits:
