Route Fifty is a web site devoted to state and local government (and may be worth sharing with your school’s Government teacher).
This local government proposal is to put license plate scanners on privately-owned garbage trucks, with the goal of locating stolen cars. Since it’s local government, the resolution doesn’t apply. Would a case need to have a plan component preventing the Feds from accessing such databases? Would their plan work if they didn’t?
